In my defense...

So I feel that I must respond to the clinical diagnosis by Sudha of my being an emotional man eater. In all honesty I do not feel that this quality should be limited to just the male population-- I feel that this happens to me with other women, family members, and even the kids I work with. Granted most of my conversations with Sudha tend to revolve around men issues like a couple of Sex and the City wannabes, but a true psychologist would have examined all aspects of the client's environment before making a diagnosis. Therefore it is my opinion that I am an "emotional people eater". Look at the comments section from that entry to get another viewpoint in my defense, granted it is from an ex-boyfriend, but he knows my emotional people-eating ways pretty well.

The Rainbow Flip-Flop

Why on earth do so many people insist on wearing this ordinary looking tan flip-flop every single day of their lives? Is there a panel of people whose main purpose is to screw around with as many people as possible by coming up with random expensive trends? Bermuda shorts, Vera Bradley bags, wool ponchos, and Uggs just to name a few...But the flip-flop is a different matter altogether. The shoe is comfortable and I have no complaints about the worthiness of the shoe as a product. But why is everyone from the 7th grade girl I work with to one of my professors sporting it? Most importantly though, why am I suddenly desperate to get a pair for myself? Posted by Picasa

How old is Mr. Six?

Seriously...how old is this guy really?!? I mean you can't walk into 6 Flags without having a phamphlet or drink cup with his face on it shoved into your face. He dances better than half the people I know (you know who you are) and still finds time to take pictures with everyone in the park. Who is this man, and what is the secret of his youth? Posted by Picasa

A Watermelon Seed spitting contest

My feet are on the right, and I did indeed win the competition as evidenced by my watermelon rind marker... One day Sudha and I will be back on the beach, and I know she's gonna be challenging my reign as spitting champ! Posted by Picasa

The beginning of a beautiful thing

So Sudha and I brilliantly decided that we have too many conversations that needed to be written down and immortalized. JT needs a forum to share all of his useless information and Sam needs a place where his internet brilliance will be recognized. So fasten your seatbelts and be prepared for many future moments of brilliance...
