You stupid, stupid woman...
Ok, so I thought I was done with this mess. I ooohed and aahed over their wedding. I watched all three seasons of Newlyweds. I watched the break-down. I bought all the magazines that were trying their best to help Americans cope with the loss of their favoriate golden couple of the moment. Then I gave up on them. But then this Rolling Stones article came out... here's the quote that got me:
"I'd marry her all over again," he says softly. "Because I still love her. It would be a lot easier to walk away if I didn't."
Is he stupid? I don't think so. Poor man is in love with a girl that didn't know what she wanted.
Is she stupid? Yes. Look at this man. He is a work of art. And he can sing.
Ok, so you don't buy into the sappiness? Well then read the Rolling Stones article for the comedic factor-- it's hysterical! The things they call Jessica are so terrible!
"The alimony ripple aside, Lachey has enjoyed a predominantly bruise-free ride down the tabloid shit chute, while his ex-wife has alternately been portrayed as a silly girl who made a huge mistake in letting him go and as an unbridled ho-cake dancing on banquettes and bedding random co-stars."
Does anyone else sense Newlyweds: The Reunion.... ??
If his album is good though, I'm gonna give it a shot. Good for you Nick :)
"I read somewhere somebody was saying, 'Oh, he's capitalizing on his failed marriage to sell records,' " Lachey says. "That really pisses me off. Like I wouldn't rather be singing about how great love is? About my newborn son and shit like that? Give me a fucking break. I don't get to choose where my life goes. What do you want me to sing about?"

He wipes his face, eyes to nose to chin.
"I'd marry her all over again," he says softly. "Because I still love her. It would be a lot easier to walk away if I didn't."
And then the tears start again.

Oh and by the way, just checked out the iTunes store and "What's Left of Me" is #2 under Daniel Poweter's "Bad Day" (and that song will be there till the end of this season's American Idol or until they stop using it as the background music for the highly emotional scenes when a contestant gets the boot). Go Nick!

Hey aunty sudha 2cents worth?? 2 dollars more like! haha… I wasnt laughing at cry baby nicky’s pain.. plz!... childish and immature I may be… but shallow and insensitive I’m definitely NOT… I was just having a laugh at the “hysterical” article…admittedly at his expense but only coz “I don’t buy into his sappiness!”...seriously though I do take your point and agree with u 100%... in fact my own sis went through a divorce after having two girls and 15 years of marriage.. ‘nuff said… either way I never meant to cause offence… ESPECIALLY to aunty sheara and her undying admiration for the cry baby… for that I’m truly sorry! Go Nick too! hehe
